Now, from all over Europe Eight Kickboxing Nations will have their own brand of fanatic fans arriving on-masse into Poland and Ukraine. Now each time two countries play football and the loser is eliminated – the same two countries will fight in a Major Stadium within 24 hours. Losing kickboxing teams will be eliminated by being knocked out of the competition. Every football fan world wide via television or if they are live with the Action in Poland and Ukraine – whether their teams have won or lost – they all now have a second chance at winning or losing as the same two country’s go to war in the square ring.

Simply through his own ignorance a little more than 100 years ago during 1896, the French Baron Pierre Coubertin created the MODERN OLYMPIC GAMES. Apparently his thinking strategy was that he would capitalize on the ancient traditions and mythologies of the CIRCUIT GAMES OF GREECE along with the CAPITOLINI GAMES OF ROME which had begun more than 1000 BC. Suffering a constant barrage of controversial and abusive editorials from the French press for what they believed to be his apparent lack of patriotism simply proved they were equally ill-informed. THE GAMES - OPENING CEREMONY - The Circus
As it was in past millenniums several Spectacular World Class Circus Acts with all of their exotic animals will be invited to perform the official opening ceremony to launch the inaugural ANCIENT CELTIC GAMES.
The worlds ‘biggest body builders’ and champion ‘Power Lifters’ (both male and female competitors) will arrive at the stadiums in all their finery in horse drawn chariots for the presentation of their ‘Final Posing Routines’ and ‘Power Lifting Finals’. They will be dressed as ancient Celtic Warriors (which will traditionally involve a lot of very discreet nudity). Within all this finery they will look not at all unlike their counter parts of many past millenniums when they were the highly respected elite athletes of all Phoenicia, Mesopotamia, Samaria, Babylonia etc.
Unlike the pre-Christian games of Greece where all athletes had to prove Greek citizenship and today’s martial artists who can only compete if they belong to an exclusive group (ie, the fighting style of Tae Kwan Do which is only one Korean based style representing much less than 5% of possible martial arts competitors)… in 2012 the Ancient Celtic Games will invite many millions of competitors from ‘All Styles’ of Martial Arts combat sports from around the world (including Boxing, Kickboxing and Wrestling) for their involvement.
A set of standard rules have been devised by the WFC (World Fighting Circuit - the official sanctioning body of the Ancient Celtic Games) to unify these millions of martial arts competitors allowing them to compete and find the best to represent their country. Sheer numbers of ‘true world involvement’ will make this one of the most important and focused events of the Games.

‘Today, in China almost the entire population of 1.4 Billion people (20% of world humanity at approximately 7 Billion) practice ancient fighting forms on a daily basis. These forms are lethal fighting techniques that are choreographed into a ritual dance. During feudal times with periods of occupation, this was often done to mask or hide their true meaning. Since the beginning of time all ancient warriors from every indigenous society have performed their *Fight-Dance (*World Patents Pending). Based on the movements of animals and performed for their health, wealth, good luck and self defence – every day, from very early in the mornings to sunset the Chinese Nation can be seen training together in all of their public parks, religious temples and on beaches, mountains, lakes and in the basements of their corporate office blocks before work – now that is serious martial arts training!
All Asian countries have historically revered this martial and mystical philosophy for its life’s longevity aspects. The ultimate paradox here must be as the Asians were unaffected by the Roman Emperor/Roman Catholic demise of the Ancient Games in 393 AD. These Asian martial artists continued their practices drawing no noticeable attention from the West.
Then there was the involvement of the Japanese in World War II, and the West experienced first hand, Kara-te that kills. Paradoxically ‘Kara’ is an ancient Gaelic/Celtic word meaning ‘friend’ while ‘te’ is Japanese for ‘hand’ – thus the linguistic explanation for the word Kara-te is symbolic for; ‘The hand of friendship’. When one trains with kara-te they are actually offering you their hand that you may be their friend. Confusing when they curtsy bow to each other with both hands by their sides, whenever I travel to Japan I enjoy confusing them by deliberately offering my hand with a grip that is both firm and friendly.
After only a few years this was followed by the Korean War and their lethal introduction of Tae Kwon Do to us, their arch enemy. Then our fiasco with Vietnam proving underground guerrilla warfare and hand to hand combat techniques can kick Big Brothers arse. The only good for us martial artists that came out of all this bloodshed, was the introduction and exposure to these Asian Arts.
Russia, India and African cultures are based on the spirituality - occultism of very ancient fighting arts that date back many, many thousands of years. Little is known of these three as we write this proposal, but currently we are in serious research and investigative mode – especially from their well connected Celtic roots.
Today, more than half a century since war time and Japan has the martial arts code throughout their education system, and although modernized the roots are based on their Samurai feudal time’s culture known as ‘BUSHIDO’ which simply means “The Way of the Warriorâ€. The linguistic breakdown is ‘Bushi’ – ‘Warrior’ and ‘do’ being the ‘way’.
Very popular around the world and growing in popularity is a very ancient fighting style declared the national sport of Thailand (Thai-boxing) which has had many centuries of strong competition from Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam and more recently (Due to the international efforts since 1986 of the author of this document - Robert V. Jones), is gaining acceptance and popularity throughout the Western World, enjoying explosive television ratings.
While the Philippines with their ‘Escrima’ are acknowledged as the supreme stick and dagger practitioners - two hundred million Portuguese speaking Brazilians all understand the expression of whether you are simply boxing or involved in a match of ‘Val Tudo’ which simply means ‘anything goes’ especially having competent skills for continuance fighting on the ground.
All throughout the western world, especially in England, America, Canada and Australia - they all market the martial arts with regular feature movies and extreme combat sports with constant high ratings on television and dominant exposure to martial arts action video games. The most recent film of note being the highest grossing film in the history of film making statistics, Pagan based intergalactic Celtic- celestial - warriors (being oppressed one more time even though they are superior in height and physique. Covered in blue markings complete with special magical powers connected to Mother Nature and the breath of the ultimate Universal God – sounding familiar?), they are Avatar within the forests of Pandora. All of these promote our Martial Arts as being the best form of self-esteem, independence and survival in the now unpredictable modern world, with its 21st Century form of ever increasing and uncontrollable statistics of social urban violence. ‘On the streets today’ in these environments you need ‘some knowledge’ and regular training of defence against mob mentality and worse - the knife, machete and gun cultures.
Actually, with a lifestyle having me travelling the world for most of my life I have discovered there is a martial arts system, style, club or some form of basic instruction of some connection to the ‘war sports’ of Ancient Celtic Europe in ‘every’ country, city, suburb, town and ‘every’ village on earth. For this reason the martial arts globally have more combined practitioners than any other human physical activity. They simply have to be united for a display of their mass affinity and that’s exactly what Robert V. OCTOGON CAGEFIGHTING - UFC
Another favourite to be featured will be the ever growing craze of the UFC OCTOGON CAGEFIGHTING, born merely a decade ago, originally from the concept of Brazils ‘Val Tudo’ by the ‘Gracie Brothers Family’. It was soon noticed, and bought out by a couple of quick thinking casino owner and operators reported to be for - four million US dollars.
A couple of miner commercial changes making everything more adaptable to television, and the whole UFC ‘Octagon Motion Machine’ has now soared to unbelievable heights. In five short years is now valued at an estimated fifty million, recently outselling baseball on the pay-per-view market.
Their Television Network and promotions group UFC (Ultimate Fighting Challenge) will be approached to package a special event for ‘our’ Games. Promoted as a Celtic theme with the right catch phrase title happening in several stadiums all over Ireland and taking place within the Ancient Celtic Games curriculum and go live to their current pay-per-view programming.
LIVE IN IRELAND - WWE
From WWF, then after a long running International legal tangle over naming rights followed by a change of identity to WWE, this ultimate entertainment package has continuously grown in popularity - until today it is a global institutional phenomenon. For many years it has enjoyed being one of the most, and as often as not the largest merchandising machine on earth. The profile of these ‘fighting athletic performers’ is meticulously marketed to one of the largest fanatic fan basis in the entertainment business.
When you are a passionate researcher of the archaeological and arcane anthropologic aspects of Celtic culture there is nothing more closely aligned to this ancient mythology than these two aspects, the UFC and the WWE. Their muscular size, their overall appearance, ‘rooster’ hair styles (Celtic warriors revered the rooster for his fighting and sexual prowess – especially within the folklore of Spain and Portugal - and his connection to the rising of the Sun), body and facial-art, pompous egos, play theatre antics, must win at all costs attitude. And above all as always, since the first rooster and the first Celtic Druid noticed the rising of the Sun – their overall popularity!
For this reason it is imperative the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and their Marketing Promotions Company be invited to package a special ‘SPECTACULAR CELTIC THEME SHOW’ to be filmed somewhere ‘LIVE IN IRELAND – THE MODERN HOME OF THE CELTS’ during the ANCIENT CELTIC GAMES and sent out around the world on their multiple Networks.
THE CAULDRON CUP - TAUROS & MATADOR
The Celtic Cauldron, a more than two thousand year old ‘mysterious’ archaeological artefact is currently being housed in the Denmark Museum, Copenhagen. Mysterious that is - unless you can read and understand the iconography of this Celtic Treasure. This ‘holy grail’ of Celtic Culture, this Cauldron has a story that tells volumes, and it has only, just begun to tell this story. For an opener it is a MMA master piece (ie, Matadors and Martial Artists).
The engravings of all the Fiona bull fighting warriors, both the men and the bare breasted women are connected to the fertility rights of the Faena. This is a unique word of one of the earliest indo-European ‘Gaelic/Celtic’ languages to represent the ritual of the sacrifice of the bull by the hand (sword) of the Fiona. This is another of those unique words of the Gaelic and Celtic language that describes a particular class of warrior. In this case the Fiona had earned the privilege of facing the bull in a ‘death-match’ because his athletic skills far surpassed every other warrior’s at a particular event of one of the annual ‘Four Seasonal Ancient Celtic Games’ (ie, Beltane, Imbolc, Lughnasa and Samhain – being representative of the four seasons).
For more than two thousand years both before and after the time of the Cauldron this ritual has remained almost unchanged, even several of the Cauldron warriors are dressed the same as today’s ‘bull-catchers’. The only noticeable change is the name of the man responsible for killing the bull – today the Fiona is better known as a Matador, while even their mode of dress remains incredibly similar.
“After many thousands of years, the Ancient Celtic Games to be held in Ireland in 2012 will again kill the bull on the third day of the Faena which will be the final day of the festivalâ€.
The Faena opening day will be representative of the mythology and culture of the CELTIBERIAN PENINSULA, back to the time of the most revered Celtic Warrior of these two nations, now known as Spain and Portugal. Viriato, two thousand one hundred years ago was the name all the surrounding rival Chieftains - from the most extreme point of the coast of Western Europe – and all the way to Rome, Roman Legions feared this name the most. This re-creation of the killing of the bulls will be dedicated to his memory respecting his immortality. This special ‘Viriato Faena’ will feature the fabulous equestrian skills of the Lusitanian riders and their fearless Lusitanian horses, as together as one, they prepare the bull for the ‘bull-catchers’.
These Lusitanian warriors (wearing the same costumes as seen on the Cauldron warriors) defy any concept of fear as they strut in single file directly at the bull. The lead catcher jumps onto the attacking bulls head – between both horns, then his team supports him in a wrestling bout with the bull as their adversary. As often as not, this event turns out catastrophic for the lead catcher and his support team and on these occasions - the bull reigns supreme.
On day two of the Faena six especially bred fighting bulls from ‘behind the mountains’ in Northern Portugal, bred to a much larger size than normal, will be involved in a Faena Tournament – these bulls will fight one and other. This will be followed for the rest of the day featuring the worlds ‘best bull-riders’, riding the worlds ‘biggest-bulls’ – with the biggest share of the prize money going to the most ferocious ‘rider of the bulls’.
On the third and final day only the most famous Matadors from Spain, Mexico, France and Portugal will be involved in the ‘Final Faena’, they will all attempt to be successful at killing all four bulls (one bull each). As it was long before the time of the Cauldron the fresh meat from these mid afternoon kills will be especially served as a delicacy for all of these events revered warriors at this, ‘The Victory Banquet’ on the final night. At least the ‘highlights’ of these three days events are a must for international television ratings – perhaps out of respect for antiquity of this Faena and its ‘fertility rights’ connection to Nature and the Universe - all three days will be filmed live in all of their splendour and archived.
THE UNICORN CUP - HORSE SPECTACULAR
*For reasons already explained the budget for this event is not included here. This event ‘will be’ one of the major highlights of these Games. Sponsors will dictate the potential magnitude of this Spectacular Event.
HIGHLAND GAMES - STRONG MAN
Many of the already established ASSOCIATIONS OF HIGHLAND GAMES competitions will be major attractions at the 2012 INAUGURAL ANCIENT CELTIC GAMES, especially their entertaining ‘STRONG MAN CONTESTS’.
Tugging aeroplanes and empty truck convoys, arm wrestling, man to man tug of war, boulder lifting, may-pole throwing, hop/skip & jump, pole vaulting and all of their events designed purely to test both athletic and warrior skills. They will come on masse from ‘behind the mountains’, playing their bagpipes and wearing their Kilts of individual tartans proudly demonstrating their Celtic Family Lineage.
They will be a ‘a breath of fresh air’ at the celebrations of the opening and closing of these Games. We will feature the added attraction of teaching the most ancient meanings of the mythology and anthropology of these;
CELTIC WARRIOR COMPETITIONS
TRACK AND FIELD EVENTS - Most Controversial
Last but certainly not least, all track and field events compatible with the Ancient Celtic European concept of ‘war-sports’ will be highlighted events of the Games.
All of the world’s best athletes that missed the MODERN GAMES by mere fractions of time and space will get a second chance at the ANCIENT GAMES where their sport is compatible to the ancient principles of the philosophy of warrior ship.
All ‘Games of peace’ competitions were defined as ‘war-sports’ and designed for warriors to compete while more importantly developing their athleticism and technical skills for survival - it was imperative they improve their WAR SKILLS, as life in these feudal times was full of continuous conflict.
“We will have the best of the OLD contests against the best of the NEW combatants at both Games in 2012 – ‘this’ will certainly be most controversialâ€.
THE ‘VICTORY’ BANQUET - Fado, Fandango & Faena
And to finish off this fantastic event – as it was in ancient times – on the final evening there will be a Major Celtic Party (A ‘Victory’ Banquet) to celebrate Ireland as the Host Country, all the competing Countries, all contestants especially the ‘Victors’. Celtic wine, food, entertainment and ‘Celtic Ancient Attitude’ will be encouraged.
Limousines, hire-cars, coaches and mini buses will escort our sporting celebrities to their ‘Victory’ Banquet and on arrival they will face Red Carpet treatment, fans, lights, radio microphones and television cameras and masse interviews will greet them, personal fashion statements (like the Loge’s) will be as much a part of this ‘Victory’ arrival as their incredible and historical sporting achievements.
Once inside and settled they will be entertained early in the evening with upbeat Celtic Arconic Music being the order of the day, later on this evening (After midnight and by candle light) everyone will experience the true celebration and meaning of Fado, Fandango, Faena – perhaps the oldest warrior ritual of fertility known within the realms of pre-history.

Hi Guys,
Have arrived safely in Europe and have met up with Paul Jeffery from New Zealand. We are on the Mediterranean up in the far corner of North Eastern Spain in Catalonyia (near Barcelona – right next to the French border). Just a quick note to wish you and you’re families and all of you’re students the best Xmas and New Year! Thank you all for all your support over the centuries, as you all would know, I have died and gone to Celtic Heaven. Megaliths of Menhirs & Monoliths and Celtic forts are ‘everywhere’.
Today we drove down to the ‘Mediterranean Beachfront’ – if you have been to the Gold Coast – well multiply that by a hundred and you have an idea of what this Entertainment Paradise is like. Dozens of Casino’s, high rises forever and a zillion restaurants to accommodate the third most visited place on earth after France (just up the road) and the United States (second). Although now is just past mid winter so you actually could have fired a cannon down the main street and only hit a couple of hundred tourists. But in the summer (very soon) as well as a local population of 60 Million, they get 60 Million tourists come to Spain.
After lunch today, we walked across the road on to the ocean front and climbed up a mountain to one of the oldest Castle’s in Spain – could not begin to explain the feeling that gave yours truly? Just being in an environment of such a blast of history makes the hair on the back of the neck stand-up.
Had a great Xmas party with Paul’s staff and they all made the new guy feel welcome! The next couple of days were spent with Paco (our Celtimania Foundation Lawyer and Tara Miliata 4th Degree) discussing my first project which is BELMONTE – ‘Death with the Rising Sun’ an Exposition of Juan Belmonte (check him on Google) the most famous matador of the 20th Century (soon to be a Tara Miliata 10th Degree).
Paco’s role now is to organize a meeting with the family to authenticate his TM 10th Degree, then it will be off to the Mayors office (well, this is the plan).
Paul and I are currently staying in a three bedda and office and boardroom as big as my boardroom in Epping. This dwelling is above his FISIOCREM Offices and Warehousing not unlike Epping.
We are about to shop around as Paul wants to buy a 7-10 bedda on enough acreage to bring in some of his horses from New Zealand (one for me if you can believe that) and launch ‘DRAGON RIDERS‘ as a division of Tara Miliata Horseback Archers here in Spain.
Plus of course the 7-10 bedda’s, as well as being for local business, we can accommodate all you Aussie Tara Miliata & ZDK higher ranks & any BJMA stylists that may want to visit from time to time. Although you can see it is great for me here you may feel I also miss you guys – so may you all have a great 2011.
